Where do you live?
Margaret River, WA
When did you start unicycling and how did you get started?
I started unicycling about six years ago in a circus. After a year or so a circus friend told me to look up Kris Holm on Youtube, and it inspired me, so I took up trials.
What is your style of riding?
I mainly ride street, with a little bit of trials. I like to mix the two together.
What brand and type of unicycle do you ride?
Impact Gravity with KH 137mm cranks.
What do you like most about your unicycle?
I don't smash my knees on the awesome frame! My uni is pretty thrashed, with a couple of bent parts, but it really can do anything. (If it had a more capable rider!)
What do you like about unicycling in general?
I love the whole community, and the fact that all unicyclists are a little bit crazy. You can do almost anything on a unicycle, and take it anywhere. It's the best feeling when you land that trick or line you've been trying for ages; it makes all the pain worthwhile!
What is your favorite unicycle trick?
Probably just a smooth rolling hop or 180. Really any flowing street/trials line gives me satisfaction.
Where do you like to ride?
Whenever I ride trials I love natural spots, like down on the rocks at the beach. For street I just ride small obstacles, like ledges and small stair sets. I like to do a mixture of street and trials when I ride, so any obstacle is fun.
How often do you ride?
Not as often as I would like, as I am really busy with my last couple of years of school.
What do you hope to achieve in 2012?
I would love to ride as often as I can and stay committed. However, I also want to do well in school, so finding the balance between work and play is difficult. I also longboard skateboard, so I would like to learn to ride downhill properly and do lots of slides! I'm really looking forward to going travelling and meeting all my unicycle and longboard idols.
And to wrap up... God or no god?
I guess I'll find out sooner or later!
